Why two people? What's wrong with two moms and a dad? Fun and variety in bed keeps the parents together. Sex with the same person for life is boring and leads to cheating plus you get the bonus of an extra bread winner for the family which means greater stability admit it - you are still stuck with an archaic religious moral code I'm not talking about Utah style polygamy where the man has the advantage. I am talking about women having two or three guys too. I know a woman that has two sex slaves - loves them both and would like to marry them both |

So why are they making a comeback, especially when kids are concerned? The younger people coming up may be waiting to start families at a later age than ever, but they're staying together with their families too. Just an observation, but if you dig enough there may be studies to substantiate that observation. |

I'm not talking about young people waiting to start familiesI am talking about women who choose to have kids without getting married It is a lot more common and it is a conscientious choice. Some are even arranging pregnancies with guys they do not intend on seeing ever again. They just want someone / anyone to give them a kid. A lot of people do not want to be tied to the same partner for life any more |

Nothing more need be specified. From there, extended family is good too if everyone gets along. If not, better to minimize those ties. What kids need is stability and seeing how adults relate to each other and to them. That's the best way to ensure a sane rational functional adult. In the absence of 2 parents one with a LOT of support can work as well. But that's really difficult. |

Monogamous marriage between 2 consenting adults is very different from polygamous relationships. Raising a child in a household headed by 2 homosexuals does not harm children. They do just as well as heterosexual headed homes. The children of polygamous cults (as such behavior only exists within cults in the US) show all sorts of stresses and behavior problems. This is in the real world, NOT cable TV. |
