Marijuana is no more dangerous than alcohol. They are both dangerous in excess and yet only one is banned. Legalizing would regulate, standardize and purify the dosages and result in billions in new tax revenues, as well as severely hurting the drug cartels. The prohibition of marijuana has had the same effects of empowering the mob as the prohibition of alcohol did in the 20s.
