My Stop and Shop also has a spot for expectant moms, and I have no problem with that. That's way different than "fuel efficient vehicles only" whatever that means.
My post office has spots for "older people" too, it's called the Handicapped spots".
As for Trader Joes, it blows Whole Paycheck away in every aspect. it's not my normal "supermarket", but I do like going there every couple months to pick up some frozen pre-prepared meals which are reasonable, and great for times I am on the go and don't have time to cook.
