If anything, it will be US Airways acquiring AA. But even then, the premise in the article will be false, because US Airways chairman Doug Parker has stated that in a US-AA merger, American Airlines will be the surviving brand. And B6 isn't going to touch AA, not when they are kicking their ass handily in San Juan. So the American Airlines brand will be around unless they collapse completely (which is possible). |
