Not that I don't believe you but I'd like to see the source of those facts, Dave.In searching Google for what you posted, I found a 2002 article co-written by Tom Sternberg that doesn't mention Bain Capital or Mitt Romney.. One would think the 2 accounts of Staples beginning would be the same no? Boston Globe article confirming Bain's investment in Staples, and how Romney subsequently moved Bain away from job-creating but risky venture capital and toward money-making leveraged buyouts. |
