Funny how Sternberg doesn't mention Bain Capital or Romney in his article but that could be a simple falling out with Bain. I wanted to highlight that as well as question the Staples deal.It does mention Bain, but only in the context of getting Avery Dennison as a supplier. William Blair and Bessemer Venture Partners are credited with providing the startup capital. More on Bain and Staples: Romney thought it was a bad investment. |
