All of the smaller ones have been replaced with more modern supermarkets, although we still don't have the enormous grocery stores like I see around the country.Guess the huge box supermarket doesn't work in Southern California. Remember The Giant by Ralphs? I went to the one on Hawthorne Blvd just south of the Galleria. Wasn't that impressed, frankly. |
