I'll always associate Food Lion with that news report that showed them selling bad meat after soaking it in bleach and adding seasoning.I used to like Ralph's and they are still ok, but most of their stores are older (at least around here) and Albertson's are better. IMO grocery stores around here have all gotten better over the last 10-15 years. All of the smaller ones have been replaced with more modern supermarkets, although we still don't have the enormous grocery stores like I see around the country. |
