Not a chance, that's the problem. NYC doesn't need two hockey teams. The fan base is thinned out enough just being in the NYC Metro area, much less in the city itself. Lots of LIers are Rangers fans too. Hockey has a more limited following than any of the four major sports, hockey being after Football as first, baseball, basketball. |
