I'm an Islanders fan, but I admit there's a huge Rangers following, many of my friends are too. I know you are being sarcastic, so there's no need to elaborate.But it was sobering going to an Islanders game at Nassau in which they were playing the Rangers a year ago. It was quite sobering seeing a home stadium being taken over by the visiting team's fans. The place was about 60-40 in the Rangers favor (and I am probably being kind). Every time the usual chant would start "Let's Go Islanders", it was immediately taken over and changed to Rangers. I never seen a home stadium go so much over to the visiting side. The Islanders were like a visiting team in their own stadium, it was sad actually. |
