Even the authors of Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law publicly said, weeks ago, that Zimmerman wasn't covered under it.Following a child while armed with a gun is just asking for trouble. Why did Zimmerman feel the need to get out of his truck at all, if he thought Trayvon was so dangerous he called 911 about the boy? Oh, and did you know Trayvon's lifeless body was found 100 YARDS from where Zimmerman's truck was parked? That smells a LOT like Trayvon was being chased by a strange, menacing adult with a gun. Second-degree murder, with manslaughter as a lesser included offense, is entirely appropriate for this case. |
