You seem to want Zimmerman's ludicrous version of events to be the "truth". It is a known FACT that Zimmerman shot Trayvon in the chest at point-blank range, and quickly came up with a self-serving defebse of his actions. Trayvon Martin was neither engaged in criminal activity, nor was he a threat to Zimmerman or anyone else at the time Zimmerman chose to follow Trayvon Martin, taking the law into his own hands instead of waiting for the police to arrive and investigate the situation.Bottom line? If Zimmerman hadn't (literally) gone off half-cocked, Trayvon Martin would be just another teenager, living in obscurity, but safe, sound, and ALIVE. That fact cannot be blinked, spun, or obfuscated, no matter how the right-wing tries to do it. But Zimmerman chose to deliberately provoke an incident, and today, the late Trayvon Martin is a household name, for all the wrong reasons. |
