It's not just Florida ... in the city of Kennessaw, GA, you could go to jail for NOT carrying a gun.The original federal mandate. The Militia Act of 1792 compelled all males between 18-45 to own a musket and bayonet and overseen by the States. We need such a law now with such weapons to be assigned to all mentally-fit and law-abiding men and women upon reaching the age of 18 (or at HS graduation if it comes earlier) and after completion of a firearms safety and proficiency course and a citizenship course. |
