You pretend to "support gay rights", but don't think we deserve to marry. Yet, when I call you out on this, you play the victim and say I'm "attacking" you.What you support is an arbitrary, inferior, inadequate "construction" that serves only to highlight our socially secondary status in many parts of this country. Of course, anything that puts us as gay people on an equal level with you, is unacceptable to you. That's why you feel perfectly justified in saying gay marriage "redefines" the institution, without supporting that assertion with real facts showing how such a "redefinition" actually occurs when gays are allowed to marry. THIW. The Trayvon shooting is another sad reminder that walking while black is STILL a life-safety issue in the South, and many other regions of the country. |
