She was the student body president at UNC that was killed screaming for help in a robbery. They caught the guy that killed her and he's in jail. It would be more similar to what's happening in Sanford if had instead decided to let the murderer go free. Luch doesn't understand that it's not the murder that has people upset, it's that they decided not to prosecute him. This wasn't a story when it happened outside of Florida. It only became one when the police went so long without charging Zimmermann. |
