We pulled out of the Philippines and gave them their independence, after their rose up against us.Incorrect. We granted them independence in 1946, right after WW2 when American-Filipino relations were at an all-time high and we had no reason to believe they would stab us in the back which in fact never happened unlike with the treasonous Southern States. We crushed them in the first part of the 20th century. |
