No, it's because you have been conditioned into putting coins into jars regardless of their changing value over time.


No, I don't like the feel of change. If there were $5 coins I wouldn't use them either. It's not a matter of value. The only difference would be that I would go to the bank more often to change it back into paper, which is not a big deal, as it takes less than 3 or 4 minutes, and I pass the bank all the time anyway.

just like you've been conditioned to put ketchup on good tasty french fries or ice in already cold soda even though those things don't make any sense whatsoever.

I don't use ketchup on my fries, and when I use self service soda, I never put ice in with it. I use ice so infrequently, that the ice trays in my freezer every so often I just clean them out by dumping them into the sink, and refresh them. The only time I use ice in a beverage is if I make an alcoholic drink, and that's quite rare at home.

next you will tell us why wearing white after Labor Day is sheer madness.

???? I wear shorts into December, and T shirts year round, so the last thing I would be worrying is what color clothes I am wearing.
