I prefer using a credit card for entirely selfish reasons. I find spending cash for any reason to be generally inconvenient. The more often I spend it, the more often I have to get cash from an ATM. If I'm spending cash on a tip, I'd have to spend it on the restaurant check to get the right amount of change, and then I will waste perfectly good, versatile small bills that I would then not have available where there is no option for change and be forced to spend cash where I don't want it to make more change. |
