Just for the record, US domestic oil is priced on a world market price. If Nigeria stops producing, Pennsylvania crude goes up too. It's a global casino here. If the US were the SOLE source of oil and they grabbed two 5 gallon buckets a day out of Iran, the price of US oil would still go up.The PROBLEM is speculation, coupled with all those closed refineries here. Look it up ... in order to profit, nearly 40% of our production is SHUT DOWN. |
