Fruitcake is highly sugary and contains those candied fruits. It's an acquired taste that I didn't acquire. My sister and I send the same one to each other every year. My late uncle was an engineer for the A&P and used to present us with one every year (Jane Parker). Of course we had to eat some to be polite. I can point to moments like this when my bad behavior starts.your pal, Fred |
