You won't be seeing Jane Parker Fruit Cakes any more, A&P is going bye-bye. The chain is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and the folks who follow the the food store industry think it's going into Chapter 7 which is total bankruptcy and the corporation is dissolved. Pretty bad for a chain that began in 1859. |
