While it is true that more "spoken word" (all news, all sports, and news talk) formats are moving to FM across the country, I believe that advertisers feel that those listeners are more "affluent" than the listeners of smooth jazz formats. So in the case where both audiences are older, they want to go with the more affluent ones...Gotta go to work now, talk to you later! |
