OK, tens of thousands of gay and lesbian couples are already doing that, and have been for decades nowDecades. I was clearly talking about "the past." If you could read, you'd see that. In order for a gay couple to have children, they must either do so extramaritally, or through adoption. This was contrary to the social order in the past. Are they, too, outside your arbitrary definition of "marriage"? It is not my definition, as was made abundantly clear to you NUMEROUS times, but there is no doubt that it is the TRADITIONAL definition. You seem to want to deviate from the traditional definition, but only when it benefits you. The traditions against polygamy and such are perfectly fine with you. I will say this, too, for the last time: Incestuous marriages and polygamous marriages are NOT, and never have been, comparable to same-sex marriages. They certainly are comparable: They are all kinds of "non-traditional" marriages in the West. |
