Bachmann is in her mid 50s. Ask a person of average inteligence where Minsk is (with not abilty to look it up) and many of them will say "Russia", since that's where it was for about 100 years. To people of Bachmann's generation, "Russia" and "the Soviet Union" mean the same thing. |
