I think it's too late for any of that now. Before deciding today, they went back to Boner and turtleman to see if there was any hope of stimulus and tax hikes to fix the problem. The resounding "NO!" from the GOP was the final straw for S&P. And the drop to AA+ isn't the end, they slapped a negative on that as well which puts us automatically into another downgrade as soom as the bozos come back from their vacation to put America through more of the same.Meanwhile, the shitstains known as republicans are blaming Obama and calling him Carter. And Wall Street hadn't programmed this into their dump this past week so byebye 401k and up goes your mortgage. And the repulitards will cheer and point at everybody else since the "party of responsibility" never was nor will be. KRUGMAN was right. Again. :( |
