Property values and crime are too. Quality of life as well.For example, when in NY, I took my friends little dogs to a park in Fresh Meadows/Flushing. That's MJF territory. He's a T/O with monster time on the job but he left the boards out of frustration. The neighborhood is all Jewish and Asian. That says it all. There is a synagogue and church across the street from this park. The park itself is clean, and people walk well-behaved dogs. NO PITBULLS. Almost no graffiti. People keep it clean. I go there to avoid the less desirable elements, including the whites found in places like Middle Village or Hamilton Beach parks. |
