Meanwhile, things keep looking up, up, up in Capitol Hill. For my purposes, that's a good thing. I remember clearly when "H" Street NE burned in 1968 (my Grandmother lived at 212 9th St NE) and I am glad to see it come back. My visit to Capitol Hill on 10 August 2010 was a great relief - to see a diverse population seemingly at peace with itself, and the entire neighborhood in good order.wayne |
