Not necessarily. DC's demographics are clearly changing in a remarkable way, it is probably too soon to determine where the new young urbanites will go once they are getting married and having kids (though I'd never send my kids to a DCPS if I was a DC resident, some things simply haven't changed from the days I was growing up). However, out of my circle of (single) friends, none of them are living in Fairfax County. They are living in Silver Spring, Van Ness, Foggy Bottom, and Arlington (and two are moving from those places to outside of the DC area, one to NYC, the other to Israel).
