All I said was that in Roman times there could have been more (genotypical) non-heterosexual men.Statistically it was probably the same, the difference was that it was accepted, whereas now many people lead a double life, and try and live a "normal" life. It is my suspicion that the societal acceptance of same sex behavior in Greek and Roman times may have led the trait to the trait being bred out (as it was possible for gay men to not marry and reproduce) False. That's still possible today, and happens all the time. |
