The child receiving Communion IS a Catholic.No he's not. He's BECOMING a Catholic and Holy Communion is one of the steps in that direction. He/she is not a Catholic until Confirmation. Until then, it's his parent(s) who are Catholic and raising their children to eventually become so too. What you are saying is NOT official Catholic doctrine. |
