To further illustrate this. I have a friend of mine who is single and unmarried. He talks about wanting to live in a "vibrant" city where he can live in a high-rise and walk or take transit everywhere. He calls this the new American way. Most of the cities he mentions are traditionally Democratic cities. My problem with this is that if I want to have kids, I don't want them growing up in a friggin high rise. I want them to grow up in a neighborhood of single-family homes with a street and a yard. |
