Elon Musk clearly said that the atmosphere within the Dragon capsule would have allowed a manned flight. Manned SpaceX flights are really just waiting for a launch abort system, and until then they'll be flying enough unmanned Dragon cargo, and Falcon 9 satellite launches to really dial in the system. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a manned launch from LC40 within the next 2 years. |
