The gay "hook up" spots are often public places, such as parks, public bathrooms, and so forth. For example, on Long Island, at the Vietnam War Memorial Park in Bald Hill in Holtsville, the parking lot and park was used for a while for gays to hook up for sex, so eventually the cops did a sting and arrested a lot of the people involved. The same with bathrooms. You could just as easily be arrested for heterosexual activity in the same spots, but people don't usually look for anonymous hook ups in parks and bathrooms (I am sure guys would love to, but you don't usually having the women obliging). Of course, there are other places where hookers are of course, but that's a whole other story, as that's prostitution then, not just anonymous hook ups. |
