But if you're going out with someone who is long term material, it's better to be sure that politics and religion align, since that usually makes for better relationships...My parents have been married over 40 years, are different religious (although both Christian), and are opposite political parties. I don't aligning politically necessarily really matters, although that also depends on the severity of the two people in regards to their political dogma. |
