How do you know? Have you asked their constituents? Have they? The fact is that the state is broke. The governor needs to make some tough choices. Do you think that the constituency wants to see their state taxes raised to support the municipal unions?

For the record, I come from a union background and fully support the workings of organized labor. I just think that zero will be accomplished by them stopping the vote.
Does it suck - absolutely!
DO they need to come to some sort of compromise - certainly.
Will we see similar scenarios in all 57 50 states? Definitely - well at least in the non- right to work states.
We better find a common ground soon.
