And one of the implied contracts about joining the US armed forces is that you will receive good medical care should you be injured. Given the appalling state of individual health care in the US, it’s not unreasonable that veterans should rely on the VA for injury management and rehabilitation.This is not a handout by any stretch of the imagination. |
