Corona and the others had the majority of their sales to America during prohibition. Same for Molsons in Canada. They didn't have pesky feds with axes breaking up their vats like they did down here. And the American market is why those beers still exist. Try some of the local brews in BOTH countries that aren't for export and you'll see. I'm not cranking wise here, but that really IS the reason ... |
