Stop with the anti-capitalistic propaganda.It was Prohibition that was anti-capitalistic. It was crowding out good brewers that was anti-capitalistic. It was imposing heavy tariffs on imports that was anti-capitalistic. With all the choices out there, nobody is forced to pick between "cat piss or dog piss". There is PLENTY of choice at any bar or store I have bought beer at, people don't have to buy "Bud". That's only in the last 25 years or so. It wasn't like that between the end of Prohibition and roughly the mid 80's. A-B and Miller even had local markets monopolized. You couldn't even get many Western US beers in the Tri-State area until just a couple of decades ago. |
