You said that Rapture "may not be the very first rap song, but it was certainly one of the earliest." I'm saying that it was definitely not the first, nor was it one of the first. It was popular no doubt, but not even as popular as King Tim III where I lived. It was popular because she was already a superstar. It's not really a "rap" song though. She just raps near the end. |
