"I'm guessing that the massive emotional response to this law will mean that it will be repealed shortly, but assuming that it were not police departments would have to enforce the law and not profile. It seems like a fairly easy thing to do. It's something that many police departments (mostly in cooperation with ICE) are already doing."Are we living in a perfect world? eh? Look at all the people that are sent to prison, guilty of no crime, stuck in prison for YEARS...only to be freed because now their lawyers are able to request a review of their sentences and finally to prove their Innocence through DNA results and then the state is FORCED to pay for WRONGFUL IMPRISONMENT...what then......? eh? Ever hear of the Innocence Project? eh? |
