You're arguing semantics. Fine. They can make a reasonable determination as to whether someone is here legally, but any absolute determination would be made by the federal government. Of course having made a reasonable determination that someone is here legally the federal government would not be involved."And just HOW LONG will it take a local cop to make that determination? when someone is stopped on the street or in a park or in school...etc |
