What is with this intense regulation nowadays?!It's called the Democrats. They will not be happy until this is a complete nanny state. There is plenty of information available for the saltiness of various dishes so that consumers can make informed decisions. The next step for these tyrants will be to ban salt shakers from sitting on restaurant tables, it's almost completely guaranteed. Gosh, this is worse than the local trans-fats debacle... Yes it is. But as I stated a few years ago when that started, that that was just the beginning. They start with one thing, and keep taking and taking and taking. Corn fructose was also recently banned. It sounds silly, to complain about "I want my trans fat", but it's not the "trans fat", it's what it represents, they will KEEP taking. Now it's salt. Next they will want to ban all caffeine from colas and coffee, and so forth. Sound silly? Watch in a few years if this continues. |
