There really probably is something to this. Easy can't grasp for some reason that water is different everywhere you go.NYC water has a lot of air in it too. I was used to it, but you have to "run" the water a little bit before you pour a class of water, as otherwise it will appear "white" in a clear glass. I remember when people from Nassau or Suffolk would come to visit me in Queens, and they always commented on the "white" water. And I would say, "You just have to run it a little, and it will be clear. And it's not because there was white "debris" in the water, it's perfectly clear clean water, but the air in it gives it the white look when it first comes out of the faucet. I miss NYC water actually....water on Long Island isn't quite as "good". |
