Actually when the first phase of Expo opens in 2011 would be a good time to come.Los Angeles has a Stadtbahn :-) Once I found out about Expo, it made sense to simply push back going there until the line opens up since I'd probably resent going before it opens up and missing the chance to ride brand new trackage. I don't know if you or anyone else realizes it, but LA could have five rail lines under construction simultaneously by 2013 By United States standards, for LACMTA have multiple projects being built concurrently would be rather impressive, but even the current pace of Metro is certainly decent given that some systems haven't expanded in years or squandered their money on useless projects (MBTA). Even if only Expo Phase 2 and Downtown Connector gets built, you'll still have something remotely useful. |
