Why do very big cities draw single women?Cities are bastions of professional, high-ranking college educated work (with the exception of engineering and science). In turn, the rate of women going to college has outstripped the number of men attending since the 1980s. But then again, the people who died in the World Trade Center attack were largely male, something like 75% even if you discount the FDNY and NYPD deaths.
