I got nailed in the 90's running a small business buying supplies in NY State where I was not charged tax, and shipping to NJ.NJ came after me for Use Taxes which I had to pay up.Any small angle a small business takes to make an extra buck is usually blocked out by the state.I'm sure it's tougher now for small business with all states in desperate need of tax revenue. |
