If it does, it would be the first time EVER in 220 years.Ans a filibuster can ALWAYS be overcome (presume that the subject matter of the filibustered measure would become law if passed). Bill Frist just refused to do it. If it continues---shut down government and they will get the message very quickly. No two ways about it. As for claims that it could have been stopped in 2007, 2007 was five years too late. |
