We've got one of those here in town and it can't be beat. Waffle House ain't all that bad down south (you won't find any north of Maryland) if you're into OMELETTES done right ... with grits of course. Love to make their skin crawl by laying LOTS of butter on the grits along with salt so they don't taste like wallpaper paste. Heh.But otherwise, ain't missing much THERE either! There was a place near Williamstown, VT where the local GAS STATION made the meanest egg mcmuffin with bacon and cheese I've EVER had for breakfast ... hit that place EVERY time I go through and the sun's coming up. :) |
