And now so are Onyewu and Tim Howard. IMO that tends to support his position. The US has lots of black starters despite hardly any black Americans having any interest in soccer. If soccer were the most popular sport among blacks, or even second or third, US soccer might look different. And so would it if more athletic whites played were interested. |
