But it's no big deal.First of all, the trans-fat laws apply to NYC proper, so it does not explain why Long Island, Westchester, and Northern NJ don't sell it. Also, the trans-fat laws went into effect after McDonald's decision to not offer the Shamrock Shake in NY. So something has been stopping them from selling it all along. Blender? Nope. It's just a bag with green syrup that attaches to a hose inside a machine. I even saw it myself at the Riverview, FL location tonight. And the manager told me it has been selling well all week. It has been profitable, which is why it's back on the menu. Are you 100% sure the Shamrock Shake has trans fat and the other shakes don't? McDonald's offers nutrional charts to the public. We can find out for sure. I think I have accurately explained why McDonald's didn't sell the Shamrock Shake in NY Metro last year. Maybe it's availabe this year. Let's see what some here say or see. |
